Background: This company had grown through a series of acquisitions to become one of the largest providers of Environmental Consulting Services with approximately 350 staff over 10 offices in the UK with associated companies and offices overseas. Due to rapid expansion a series of merged companies were being brought into one head office location and there were in excess of 50 outstanding vacancies to be filled, some of which had been outstanding for a period of time and were critical to the business. The brief was to support the HR team as a flexible resource during a period of transition
Approach: We met with divisional heads throughout the company to refine sourcing requirements and assist in drafting detailed job descriptions. We took on several search assignments successfully filling senior positions in Edinburgh, Manchester Wales and London which had previously proved too difficult for the company to source. Also took over response handling for national advertising campaign including all interviewing and shortlisting of candidates on the clients’ behalf.
